Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce says that Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy, Serik Zhumangarin, has arrived in Kabul leading a high-level delegation.

According to the ministry, the visit is aimed at holding the Afghan-Kazakh Trade and Economic Forum and inaugurating an exhibition of Kazakh products in Kabul.

The ministry said the forum and exhibition are expected to create new opportunities for trade and commercial partnerships, increase bilateral trade, and encourage investment between the private sectors of both countries.

It added that transit, investment, agriculture, food processing, and the supply of raw materials are among the main areas of cooperation between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.
