The media office of Panjshir Province has reported that since the beginning of this year, 160 families and approximately 200 Panjshiri youth who had left for other countries have returned to Panjshir.

According to the statement, these Panjshiri youth, many of whom worked in civil and military departments of the previous regime, have been appointed to various positions in the local administration of the Islamic Emirate in Panjshir upon their return.

The statement adds that these Panjshiri youth, who have returned from Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey, and many of whom hold master’s and doctoral degrees, have been appointed to positions in Emirate offices, international organizations, the private sector, and particularly in the mining sector.

At the same time, the Governor of Panjshir Province has welcomed all returning Panjshiri citizens and promised that, in addition to addressing other issues, they will be recruited to vacant provincial administration positions through open and transparent competition.
