A massive wildfire has swept through central Los Angeles, destroying thousands of valuable and historic buildings. Areas where Hollywood stars live have been severely destroyed. The average home price in the area is around $3 million.

Among the significant losses is Palisades Charter High School, well-known for its appearances in movies like Teen Wolf and Carrie. The school suffered heavy damage, with the LA Unified School District reporting the destruction of classrooms, facilities, and sports fields. Will Rogers State Historic Park, which covers 300 acres and includes the home of the Hollywood star, has also been damaged.

The fire has also impacted cultural and historical landmarks. The Getty Villa Museum, though its Roman art remains safe, has seen its grounds burned. Additionally, the Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center, established in the 20th century, has been heavily damaged by the fire.

Personal losses have been deeply felt across the community. The home of LA Lakers Coach JJ Redick has been destroyed. Celebrities such as Rosie O’Donnell have shared on social media that their homes are gone. Cookbook author and TV host Sandra Lee is now living in a hotel, having lost her home. Actor James Woods evacuated his house before it was consumed by the flames.

Reports indicate that other famous figures, including Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, and Miles Teller, have also faced threats or the loss of their homes. The latest updates reveal that over 37,000 hectares of land have burned, making the area look like a war zone.

This devastating fire has left a significant impact, destroying cultural and historical sites, as well as many personal properties. The losses felt by the community will be remembered for years to come.
