Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, spoke with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, in a telephone call.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the conversation centered on strengthening bilateral ties and addressing recent developments in the region.
Both sides expressed serious concern over recent developments in the Middle East and strongly condemned the United States and the Zionist regime’s attack on Iran, as well as any efforts to widen the conflict to other countries in the region.
The ministry also noted that Mawlawi Muttaqi and his Omani counterpart discussed the latest developments between Afghanistan and Pakistan, stressing the importance of addressing regional challenges through diplomatic channels.
