Afghan Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, held phone talks with Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, to discuss bilateral relations, recent regional developments and Pakistan’s violations of Afghan airspace.

According to a Foreign Ministry statement, Muttaqi said Afghanistan is not seeking war and accused Pakistan of initiating hostilities by violating Afghanistan’s airspace.

Muttaqi said talks with a Pakistani delegation led by Pakistan’s Minister of National Defence are scheduled in Doha today, and that Afghanistan awaits the discussions with respect.
