The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, has criticized the mistreatment with Afghan workers in other countries during the celebration of International Workers’ Day, calling it intolerable.
In his remarks, he urged the international community not to politicize the issue of workers.
Referring to the inauguration of a workers’ association, he added that this organization will serve as a reference body for protecting workers’ rights.
The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, also emphasized that past governments have misused workers’ associations and tarnished their reputation.
Mr. Omari further stated that in order to achieve national self-sufficiency, all Afghans must unite and fulfill their responsibilities.
