The Deputy Minister for Quality Assurance of the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Abdul Khaliq Sadiq, said that one model school is planned to be built in each province of the country.

He made these remarks on Sunday during the announcement ceremony of 1,060 new positions at the ministry, adding that in these schools, highly talented students at the provincial level will be taught by experienced and qualified teachers.

Mr. Sadiq said that one such model school has already been established in Kabul city.

He stated that this initiative will play an important and effective role in improving the quality of education and training in the country.
