The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that, in an effort to make consular services more accessible to citizens, it will begin providing document authentication services in ten districts, following their availability in provincial capitals.
According to the ministry’s statement, the services will be offered in Surobi and Qarabagh districts of Kabul, Spin Boldak in Kandahar, Shindand in Herat, Kaldar (Hairatan) in Balkh, Momand Dara (Torkham) in Nangarhar, Gereshk in Helmand, Imam Sahib in Kunduz, Jaghori in Ghazni, and Chamkani in Paktia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that, beginning on the 1st of Asad (the Afghan solar calendar month) of the current year, citizens will be able to send their documents for authentication through the Afghan Post Company via the designated district branches and collect the authenticated documents from the same post offices once the process is complete.
