The Ministry of Interior has announced the resolution of a 120-year-long feud between the Najim Gul and Zali families in Khost province’s Spera district. The reconciliation was achieved through the efforts of local security officials and tribal elders.
In a statement, the ministry noted that district authorities congratulated both families on ending the long-standing hostility and expressed their willingness to mediate similar disputes in the future.
While the ministry did not provide details about the origins of the feud or the losses suffered by either side, it emphasized the importance of such resolutions for community stability.
This is not the first time local officials have successfully mediated and transformed long-running hostilities into peaceful coexistence in various parts of the country.
