According to The New York Times, a newly released United Nations report states that Israeli forces were involved in the torture and deliberate killing of Palestinian children. The report was published eight months after the ceasefire in Gaza between Israel and Hamas.
The findings were compiled by an independent committee of three senior international legal experts following an investigation into the violence.
The committee concluded that the killing of Palestinian children is part of a broader strategy aimed at destroying the future of the Palestinian people in Gaza. It stated that these actions actually are genocide.
