The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Korea has strongly condemned the recent attacks on Iran carried out by the United States and the Zionist regime, calling it a major threat to peace and security in the region.
A spokesperson for the ministry stated that military threats against the political system and territorial integrity of any country are unacceptable and must be prevented at the international level.
The spokesperson stressed that North Korea respects the decisions of the Iranian people and considers it their legitimate right to choose a supreme leader for their country.
At the same time, the North Korean government expressed its support for the appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran’s new religious leader.
