The Ministry of Justice announced that the Special Court for Handling Cases of Usurped State Lands has confirmed 12,505 jeribs of land as state-owned in Khost Province.
The ministry added that the land is located in the Mandozai desert area, within Ismail Khil and Mandozai district of Khost Province, and is included in a single plot.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the case of this land had previously been referred to the Special Court for Handling Cases of Usurped State Lands in the Central Zone under Article 17 of the Law on the Restitution of Usurped Lands.
After a thorough review of documents, records, land registries, and obtaining information from relevant institutions, the court determined that the land is pasture and officially registered in the name of the state.
It is worth noting that a few days earlier, nearly 1,000 jeribs of land in the Alokhail area of Kabul city were also confirmed as state-owned after evaluation.
