Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, said attacks by the United States and Israel have killed at least 1,332 civilians in Iran and left thousands more injured.
Iravani added that Tehran is investigating reported strikes on non-military areas across the Middle East.
He also criticized remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump about Iran’s selection of a new leader, saying they violate the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries. Iravani said Iran would never allow foreign powers to interfere in its domestic affairs.
