Pakistani Taliban have announced the launch of new military operations named “Khyber,” following the conclusion of their annual “Al-Khandaq” operations.

In a statement, Pakistani Taliban stated their annual “Al-Khandaq” operations have concluded, marking the start of a new wave of operations named “Khyber.”

The statement read, “On March 7, the Pakistani Taliban’s annual ‘Al-Khandaq’ operations ended with victories and historic successes, and the leadership has now launched a new wave of operations called Khyber’’.

The statement noted that the name was chosen to reflect significant events in Islamic history, especially the Battle of Khyber. It added that this year’s Khyber operations aim to counter modern conspiracies and target the puppet proxies of Zionist forces.

The Pakistani Taliban have, for several years, announced annual military operations for beginning their operational activities.
