The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said Minister Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour met with Daikundi Governor Mawlawi Torjan Ahmadi to discuss the challenges facing the province’s residents, development needs, and access to basic services.

The ministry said the governor noted the main challenges and needs of Daikundi’s residents, noting that the province is among those where people lack access to many basic services and facilities.

Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour said the Afghan government is paying particular attention to all provinces, especially underserved areas with limited access to basic facilities. He said the ministry would work to address Daikundi’s needs within its available resources.

Mansour also assured the governor that the ministry would make necessary efforts to help resolve the province’s challenges and strengthen development work in Daikundi.
