Sheikh Noor-ul-Haq Anwar, Director General of the Administrative Affairs Office, said the Afghan government has taken important steps to modernize the tax and payment systems, adding that the introduction of electronic systems has made these processes easier and more efficient.
Speaking at a ceremony announcing tax relief measures, Sheikh Noor-ul-Haq Anwar said the modernization of tax and payment systems has accelerated tax collection and government payment procedures while making them more organized and transparent. He added that these improvements have created greater convenience for citizens and traders.
He further said the new tax relief measures would support the private sector, investors, and taxpayers, help expand economic activities, and create better opportunities for business growth.
