The Head of Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, stated in a press release that today (Wednesday, june 25), the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, introduced Sheikh Sane’ullah Farahmand as the Acting Government’s Ambassador and Special Representative in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

According to Mr. Takal, in addition to the official delegation, several leaders and scholars from the Afghan community in Ankara also attended the introduction ceremony.

In his speech, Mr. Muttaqi described the elevation of diplomatic relations to the ambassadorial level as a sign of good cooperation and positive relations between Afghanistan and Turkey.
