Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Kabul hosted the sixth trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue with China and Pakistan.
According to the Ministry’s statement, the meeting reviewed the outcomes of previous sessions and emphasized strengthening political, economic, and transit cooperation among the three countries.
During the discussions, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi highlighted the emergence of numerous opportunities to strengthen regional collaboration. He expressed confidence that all parties could leverage these opportunities for the benefit of their countries and noted that the trilateral mechanism provides a platform for focused, practical discussions on advancing cooperation.
China’s Foreign Minister described Afghanistan-China relations as steadily progressing and noted the expansion of cooperation across various sectors. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of the trilateral meeting, calling it a key opportunity to further strengthen collaboration among the three countries.
