The Supreme Court of Afghanistan stated that, during the first quarter of the current solar hijri year, courts Countrywide addressed a total of 423 cases related to women’s rights.
The Supreme Court’s statement indicated that these cases mainly concerned inheritance matters, property disputes, and the registration of ownership documents in women’s names, including those with designated dowries.
Of the 423 cases, 389 concerned inheritance and property issues, 27 involved obtaining related legal documents, and 7 addressed the registration of property in women’s names.
