Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa stated that the situation in Lebanon has reached a highly complex phase, warning that continued hostilities would have wide-ranging humanitarian and security consequences for both Lebanon and Syria.
In remarks to Al Mashhad Network, he stated that Damascus has proposed a new approach to resolving the crisis, focused on an immediate halt to clashes and the launch of a comprehensive political, economic, and social process in Lebanon.
Al-Sharaa stressed that Damascus is not pursuing any military option outside its borders and instead supports diplomatic solutions, dialogue among Lebanese factions, and the restoration of economic ties between the two countries.
