A new chapter of intelligence warfare against Afghanistan has opened at a time when former soldiers of the republican regime and armed Arbaki elements have been pushed to the front lines in service of the Pakistani military regime’s interests, or efforts are being made to increase what is currently considered a low-level threat from them in the future. They saw material benefits in the continuation of war, and when the republic collapsed, they abandoned all their symbolic slogans and sought refuge in the embrace of the very military regime against which they had previously claimed to be fighting.

Their close alignment with the military regime and the ISI, and their gathering under the leadership of local proxy tribal figures, demonstrated that all branches of falsehood ultimately unite against the truth. Acting on the orders of the ISI and under the direction of regionally sponsored intermediaries, they seek to create instability in Afghanistan and prevent the implementation of Islamic law. However, the past and present atrocities committed by these elements are steadily moving toward their inevitable conclusion.

The ongoing sit-ins and protests by local demonstrators in Balochistan have made it clear that the violence and misconduct of these Arbaki groups have also reached the ordinary people of Balochistan. Protesters openly state that these individuals are driven by brutality and that they will continue their demonstrations and keep major roads closed until the military regime removes these armed elements from the region.

This situation has revealed that the presence of these hired militants is a threat not only to Afghanistan but also to the security of the wider region, comparable to a spreading cancer. The Afghan government’s determination to eliminate them, together with public uprisings aimed at expelling them from certain areas, signals their complete failure. Those who were once accused of killing deceived young people now find themselves trapped in a state of dependency and subservience in which they are neither accepted by the people of the regions hosting them nor likely to achieve their alleged objectives inside Afghanistan.

The Afghan government’s firm response and practical actions have also shown that none of the enemy’s malicious plans can escape its attention. The targeting of these armed groups’ centers serves as clear evidence of this approach. The fate of these militants, like that of other agents and collaborators throughout history, will be one of disgrace and humiliation; their schemes will be neutralized at their inception, and they will remain marked by failure and shame.
