According to information, opponents of the caretaker government in Afghanistan, particularly Ahmad Massood, the leader of the Resistance Front, met with Asim Malik, the head of Pakistan’s military intelligence (ISI), on Doshanba. It is said that this meeting involved Ahmad Massood and several other figures. Details of this meeting have recently been provided to Hindu Kush Voice by several reliable sources.

It is said that in this meeting, the head of ISI promised Ahmad Massoud and his delegation increased cooperation against the caretaker government of Afghanistan in exchange for recognizing the Durand Line as an official border. These cooperations include certain facilities regarding hideouts, training camps, and movement along the imaginary line. He also promised to establish comprehensive coordination with the ISIS Khorasan branch in the Balochistan province.

It is said that this meeting also discussed how the assassination of Chinese, Russian, and some other Central Asian nationals, with the blame placed on the ISIS Khorasan faction, could create distrust between the caretaker government of Afghanistan and these countries. According to information provided by Ahmad Massood, the task was assigned to General Qadam Shah Shaheem, a native of Badakhshan province and the former chief of staff during the Republic era, after this meeting. The targeting of a Chinese national in Yangi Qala and the targeting of Chinese nationals in Tajikistan are also part of the implementation of this joint project.

It is worth mentioning that when Pakistan faced excessive exploitation by Chinese companies in some domestic economic projects, it planned and executed several major attacks in the Malakand Division, Karachi commercial city, and Gwadar. In this way, it hindered and delayed Chinese economic projects, attempting to please the United States and the West on one hand, and to free itself from the excessive exploitation by Chinese companies on the other.
