The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has renewed its commitment to supporting the Afghan people and emphasized continued engagement and practical cooperation with the Afghan government at a meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Afghanistan.
The meeting was held in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting discussed Afghanistan’s latest humanitarian and development situation and ways to strengthen the international response.
