The United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry said Israel has committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to genocide in Gaza, Anadolu Agency reported.
According to the commission’s latest report, Israeli forces continued to deliberately target Palestinian civilians even after the ceasefire agreement, martyring children and committing other violations, including torture and sexual violence.
The report said Israeli military operations in the occupied West Bank since January 2025 had triggered widespread displacement, forcing 34,176 Palestinians from their homes by August 2026.
The commission’s chair said the destruction of Palestinian homes and the killing of Palestinians were part of a broader policy aimed at displacing the Palestinian population.
