Yemen’s Houthi movement has renewed its warning against using King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, declaring the facility a “military target” and threatening further attacks, Reuters reported.
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said operations targeting the airport would continue. He urged airlines, airport staff and passengers to avoid the facility.
The warning came hours after the airport announced plans to resume operations from Sunday, October 25, with Terminal 1 designated for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights operated by Saudi national carriers.
