US President Donald Trump told Fox News that he is considering restarting the “Freedom Project” for the Strait of Hormuz.
He said that this time the scope of the project would not be limited only to escorting ships through the Strait of Hormuz, but would be expanded further.
Trump added that he has not yet made a final decision on reactivating the project.
He had announced this initiative last week, but later postponed it due to peace talks with Tehran.
