U.S. President Donald Trump has temporarily lifted tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports for a month, according to reports.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum reportedly agreed in a phone call with Trump to take measures against illegal migration and the smuggling of fentanyl drugs across their shared borders with the U.S.

Meanwhile, some media outlets have quoted Trump as saying he may speak with Chinese officials within the next 24 hours to prevent the implementation of a planned 10% tariff on Chinese goods.
