Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) says that its Chief Executive Officer, Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar, met with representative of the Turkish electrical equipment company Marbeyaz.
During the meeting, discussions were held on investment in the hydropower sector, the repair and modernization of existing power generation equipment, and the installation of new electrical systems using modern technology.
The representative of the Turkish company stated that they are interested in investing in hydropower generation in Afghanistan, rehabilitating existing turbines, installing new high-capacity turbines, and enhancing the capacity of technical personnel.
Both sides emphasized the need for joint meetings between the technical departments of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat and the Turkish firm, as well as conducting technical assessments for electricity generation from existing water resources in the country’s provinces.
