Following recent protests in Iran, the British magazine The Sun reported that the United States has deployed several combat aircraft to Europe in preparation for a potential strike on Iran.
The report states that a C-17 and two AC-130 aircraft from the U.S. 160th Special Operations Aviation unit have landed at RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom.
The deployment is believed to have taken place after President Donald Trump issued warnings regarding a possible attack on Iran.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials have announced heightened alerts in response to Trump’s statements and discussions surrounding a potential U.S. strike.
Iran’s religious leader, Ali Khamenei, said in a post on X that “we will never surrender to the enemy.”
