Reuters has reported that U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared details of another planned attack on Houthi’s positions in Yemen in a separate Signal chat group.

According to the report, the group included Hegseth’s wife, brother, and lawyer—individuals who were not authorized to access such sensitive military information.

Hegseth had earlier shared details of the planned attack in Yemen with a group of senior U.S. officials.

Jeffrey Goldberg, editor of The Atlantic magazine, was inadvertently added to the group. The disclosure later sparked a major political controversy for the Trump administration in Washington.
