Al Arabiya has reported that Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said Israel has no interest in joining the United States in its ongoing conflict with Iran.
Smotrich said the current situation is favorable to Israel and that Washington has urged Tel Aviv not to become directly involved in the conflict to prevent further escalation.
The report added that Israeli intelligence has informed Washington that Iran moved its nuclear facilities, equipment, and machinery into deep underground tunnels following last autumn’s 12-day conflict. According to the report, the relocation has heightened concerns that Iran could rebuild its nuclear program.
