Sources close to Almas Zahid have informed Hindukush Voice that recently the relationship between Almas Zahid, a member of the Resistance Council, and Abdul Rashid Dostum is not good; Zahid has stated that he will never work at Dostum’s behest.
Almas Zahid told sources from the Hindukush Voice that Dostum is concerned about Zahid’s foreign trips and his connections with foreigners, and he suspects that Almas Zahid might be secretly receiving money and privileges from foreigners or might be engaging in some covert dealings with them.
Sources have stated that Almas Zahid has had secret connections with the Pakistani government, particularly the ISI, for a long time and occasionally makes covert trips to Pakistan under the guise of the Resistance Council. This has led Abdul Rashid Dostum to suspect him of espionage.
According to the source, due to this suspicion and distrust, Abdul Rashid Dostum also meets secretly with certain factions and sometimes sends representatives, but due to some distrust within the Resistance Council, no one is informed, or the details of their secret meetings are not disclosed.
Based on information, Fazl Ahmad Ma’nawi, a member of the leadership of the Resistance Front, who represents this front in the Resistance Council, came under suspicion from the Resistance Council when some mocking audio clips about Amrullah Saleh by Ata Mohammad Noor were published on social media. After extensive investigations and some interpretations, the suspicion and accusation of leaking these clips were directed at Fazl Ahmad Ma’nawi.
