The Ministry of National Defense reports that the technical division of the 209 Al-Fath Corps has repaired and returned 1,244 military vehicles and 52 weapons to full operational status over the past six months.
The ministry states that the repaired vehicles include 848 Ranger trucks, 62 Humvees, 118 main battle tanks, 216 Ranger ambulances, and various other military units. The restored weapons include 17 M-16 rifles, pistols, M-4 rifles, Russian PK machine guns, and D-30 artillery pieces.
The source added that technicians at the corps’ workshops have refurbished 119 engines, preparing them for active deployment.
The ministry notes that similar repair and restoration programs have been carried out previously, in which inactive vehicles and weapons were repaired and restored to the defense forces.
