The Panjshir Directorate of Information and Culture reports that, based on the directive of the Ministry of National Defense, 400 youths from the province have been recruited into the National Islamic Army.

The spokesperson for the Panjshir governor, Saifuddin Laton, stated that these individuals will be sent to Kabul for a five-month military training program after completing initial administrative procedures.

He added that, this year, another 1,500 youths from the province have also been recruited into the National Islamic Army by order of the Afghan government leadership.
