The Directorate of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Sar-e Pol province has launched the construction of seven water supply networks in the districts of Sancharak and Suzma Qala at a cost of 52 million Afghanis.

According to the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the project includes digging seven wells, constructing seven clean water reservoirs, laying 39.6 kilometers of pipeline, and installing 1,220 water taps and 254 solar panels.

The ministry added that upon completion of the project, 2,300 families in the mentioned districts will gain access to clean drinking water.
