Fazal Fazly, who served as Director General of Administrative Affairs (AOP) during the former republic, has said in his latest remarks that Pakistan is forming militias in Balochistan under the name “Lashkar” from members of the former republic’s Arbaki Militias and military personnel.
Fazly did not provide further details on the matter and only expressed concern.
Previously, Voice of Hindukush also reported, based on its credible evidence and information, that Pakistani intelligence agencies had established bases for military personnel of the former republic in Balochistan near the Hypothetical Durand Line and were using them for armed activities in Afghanistan.
Local residents of Balochistan have repeatedly held protests against the aforementioned military personnel and expressed concern that they are involved in theft and other destructive activities there.
