The Ministry of Energy and Water reported that a delegation, headed by its Deputy for Energy, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Energy.

Sources reported that Afghanistan was recognized as a vital hub for regional energy projects during the meeting. The discussion highlighted investment opportunities in the power sector and included updates on the progress of the CASA-1000 project.

According to the statement, both sides agreed to strengthen technical cooperation, modernize the power grid, increase electricity production, and reduce energy losses.
