The situation between Afghanistan and Pakistan in the recent clashes has entered a new and complex phase beyond the Durand Line. What initially began as skirmishes with light and heavy weapons in the Durand Line areas has now transformed into a phase where the Afghan government’s advanced defensive response has completely disrupted the enemy’s war calculations. If the situation continues to head toward further conflict, the Afghan government will be forced to resort to other options and means that it has not yet used. This will mark the beginning of a major defeat and irreparable loss for Pakistan. The path to peace and stability lies only in mutual respect; otherwise, Afghan forces are ready to neutralize any enemy movement in its infancy and give them a lesson in deterrence.
