Iranian media have reported that, at the conclusion of indirect talks between the United States and Iran in Oman, it was agreed that the negotiation process would continue.

Iran’s Foreign Minister and head of the negotiating delegation, Abbas Araghchi, said that the Muscat talks were “a good start” and that both sides have expressed their determination to keep the process going.

Speaking to the media, Araghchi added that if the talks continue to progress positively, there is a possibility that both sides could reach a mutually acceptable agreement.

Meanwhile, the Reuters news agency, citing its sources, reported that Washington has asked Tehran to halt uranium enrichment, but Tehran has rejected this request.
