The Panjshir provincial media office says that food assistance has been distributed to 3,200 eligible families in the Shutul, Abshar, and Paryan districts of the province.
The source added that the aid was distributed in two phases for a period of three months through the efforts of the provincial administration and with financial support from the World Food Programme.
According to a statement from the Panjshir governor’s office, each family received flour, cooking oil, and chickpeas as part of the assistance.
It is worth noting that yesterday, the governor of the province held talks with the head of the central zone of UNAMA on attracting further cooperation from the international community.
