The military wing of the al-Qaeda-affiliated group, Jama’at Nasrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM), has released a detailed report on its operations during the previous Islamic month of Dhu al-Qa’dah. According to the report, JNIM conducted attacks across Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger, comprising 32 assaults on military and intelligence facilities, 25 bombings, and 7 ambushes.

The group added that these operations resulted in the deaths of 828 security forces and the destruction of 54 vehicles. Additionally, JNIM reports seizing 872 light and heavy weapons, 29 vehicles, and over 168 motorcycles.

It’s worth mentioning that the military wing of the al-Qaeda-affiliated group, active across various regions in Africa, has intensified its activities in recent times.
