Hossam Zaki, Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League, has indicated that the Arab Summit on the Gaza Strip, scheduled for February 27 in Cairo, may be delayed by several days due to logistical challenges.

Zaki stressed that the importance of Palestinian interests requires Hamas to step aside and accept Egypt’s proposals for the governance of Gaza.

He noted that without Hamas’s withdrawal, alternative solutions could be implemented, though they may not be acceptable to all parties.

He also mentioned that Arab countries are working to establish a Palestinian administration in Gaza that would help stabilize the region.

It’s worth noting that an official announcement regarding the new date for the summit has not yet been made.
