Bloomberg reported that the United States is set to impose new sanctions targeting Russian oil tankers and related individuals.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant raised the matter earlier this week during a meeting with ambassadors from European countries.
The reports note that the new sanctions are expected to be announced later this week.
