The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock says that construction work has begun on a “commercial, agricultural, and livestock” complex in Shahjoy district of Zabul province, funded by the private sector with an investment of 100 million Afghanis.
The Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, said during the inauguration ceremony of the project that the ministry is ready to cooperate with investors and also provides land for the implementation of projects.
The complex is being built by the “Abad Hewad” commercial and agricultural company on an area of 300 jeribs of land and will include agricultural and livestock farms as well as cold storage facilities.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock says it is striving to implement infrastructure projects in cooperation with the private sector and further expand employment opportunities in the country.
