The spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works, Mohammad Ashraf Haqshenas, said that the construction contract for a 60-kilometer road between the Chak and Daymirdad districts of Maidan Wardak province has been contracted.

According to him, the project will cost 2.04 billion Afghanis, and practical work is set to begin in the near future.

The road stretches from Chak district to Daymirdad district in Maidan Wardak province, and several structures will also be built along the route.

Upon completion, the road is expected to significantly ease transportation for residents of Daymirdad and Chak districts, particularly in movement and the transfer of agricultural products.
