The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs says that the Deputy Minister for Labor Affairs, Mawlawi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, met in his office with the Head of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Afghanistan, Titi Hibbakari.
According to the source, the meeting focused on expanding working relations between the two sides, creating job opportunities, and discussing ways to safeguard the rights of workers and employees.
The Deputy Minister for Labor Affairs stated that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is striving, in coordination with partner institutions and in line with national and international standards, to take effective steps in the field of labor. He also called on the International Labour Organization to expand its cooperation in accordance with the ministry’s principles.
Subsequently, the Head of the International Labour Organization expressed satisfaction with the ministry’s activities and emphasized the continuation of cooperation in ensuring workers’ rights, providing safe working conditions, and promoting social justice.
