After Trump repeated his claim of capturing Bagram for the twenty-second time, Afghan political figures showed various reactions. Many notorious and traitorous traders were thrilled to hear the voices of their foreign benefactors, and the dream of returning to plunder and loot the nation’s wealth was rekindled in their minds. For this reason, each quickly revealed their true, transactional nature; as the spokesperson of the Junbish movement, just hours after the US president’s remarks, called Dostum the sole collaborator in the occupation.

The leader of the Green Trend, Amrullah Saleh, the former deputy of the failed republican government, also responded to Trump’s claim by saying, “This situation is evolving, and the Green Trend is monitoring it before taking a decisive position.” This statement clearly showed that he had also given the green light and was ready to cooperate and make a lucrative deal if things got serious.

Meanwhile, Tamim Aasi, the former deputy defense minister, made a strange reaction, claiming that “Trump is serious in his words” and called cooperation with international forces “good news.” Other figures also took more or less similar positions and gave the green light to a shameful deal that would bring them back to power.

These positions are being put forward by puppet leaders who have always presented themselves as the main representatives of the free and anti-occupation people, unaware that the Mujahid nation of Afghanistan has never accepted the sale of its land and the freedom of its homeland, and has sacrificed all its possessions for territorial integrity and independence, watering the tree of freedom with their own blood and the blood of their loved ones.

However, in contrast, the leaders of the current government, with courage and bravery and by taking a clear and unambiguous stance, such as: “Bagram what, not a single grain of Afghan soil will be traded under any circumstances, and America must learn from the past,” sent a message to the enemy that just as they brought freedom by sacrificing their heads, lives, and property, they are also ready for any kind of sacrifice to maintain and preserve the independence of their land and homeland, and will not allow any occupier or traitor to covet the occupation and trade of their land and homeland.

Additionally, the brave people of Afghanistan, both online and offline, responded with fierce anti-occupation reactions, reminding everyone that the blood of resistance against occupation still flows in their veins.

Following a wave of courageous reactions from the leaders and free people of Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, the former US envoy for Afghan peace, clarified by retracting Trump’s claims: “The US has no plans to seize Bagram.”

This statement was like cold water on the fire of hope for the fleeing traitors and foreign slaves who dreamed of returning to power. Thus, their half-hearted hopes, which had been revived by Trump’s boasts, were once again dashed.

The reality is that compassionate and honest leaders governing the current situation and the people of Afghanistan will never compromise on their freedom and land, and will bravely stand against any occupier. What fails are the flimsy hopes of traitors and dealmakers; hopes that are revived each time with a political boast, and traitorous figures who are very quickly exposed from under the covers of disgraceful deals and crumble rapidly in the face of the determination of the free Afghan nation.
