The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has claimed that it uncovered and thwarted a large-scale and sophisticated plot targeting the White House before it could be carried out.
According to the FBI, the attack was allegedly planned to take place during a sporting event at the White House held as part of President Donald Trump’s birthday celebrations.
According to the information released, the attackers had also planned to use small drones and snipers in the operation.
Without providing further details, the FBI claimed that it has identified the suspected attackers.
