During U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to China, verbal and physical confrontations reportedly broke out between his security personnel and Chinese security forces.

According to a Fox News report, the tensions escalated while Trump was visiting a historic temple in Beijing.

The report states that Chinese security forces prevented an armed U.S. Secret Service agent from entering the temple, while the American side insisted that the individual remain part of the president’s security detail.

It was said that the verbal dispute between the two sides lasted for about 30 minutes.

The report further adds that, in a separate incident, a White House staff member was shoved during the confrontation, fell to the ground, and sustained minor injuries.
