International media, citing Egyptian mediators, have reported that the Hamas Islamic Movement has accepted a 60-day ceasefire proposal with the Zionist regime.
The proposal reportedly includes the release of half of the Israeli hostages in exchange for the release of several Palestinian prisoners, including those serving life sentences, from Israeli jails.
Meanwhile, senior Hamas official Basem Naim also confirmed this decision of the movement in a statement.
